NHS trust ‘holds nerve’ to go-live with e-observations to support its Covid-19 incident response and digital plans
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, serving more than 600,000 citizens of Gloucestershire, England, is deploying the Sunrise™ Acute Care electronic patient record as a clinical wrap around its PAS. It went live with nursing documentation in November 2019 and followed up with e-observations in the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic. The two deployments have supported the Trust’s winter planning and COVID-19 incident response, while saving nurses time, improving care and laying a digital foundation.
